Day 1 & 2 - London

Well we made it to London!!! We left MSP on Sunday morning and arrived safely here in London around 8:30am Monday morning! We headed to our hotel and took a small nap and headed out for the day. We started off around the houses of Parliament/Big Ben area - lots of people. We walked around this area for a while to get some of the London sights in. Amber and Kevin have been here but Erv and Eileen have not so it was fun to see all the sights. We made our way down past 10 Downing Street where the Prime Minister lives. You can't see much past the gates. Headed to the Horseman's Gate where there are guards there -- for the main purpose to take photos with them :) This is a place where they held beach volleyball during the Olympics in 2012 as well. Walked to Piccadilly Circus (just a square area). Lastly we headed to the British Museum to end the day. We were pretty tired so we didn't spend much time here. The most famous thing here is the Rosetta Stone. All in all a good day. We stopped at a grocery store/market for dinner and headed back to our hotel to crash! Today (Tuesday) we are off to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Millennium Bridge, Canal Tour, and a Night Bus Tour. All of these are in the same area which will be nice! The weather yesterday was in the 60's which is absolutely perfect weather!

Love,
