Our last morning in LA, we did a Warner Brother's Studio Tour. My favorite thing in LA we did. It was a 2 hour tour around the stages of Warner Brothers. Again, the studios/sets just amaze me. We got to see were some of my favorite shows are/were taped. And the use them over and over again. For example: one of my all time favorite shows is Gilmore Girls and we got to see Stars Hallow (The city it is set in) and it is the same exact street as the Pretty Little Liars set (another of my favs). The just dress the outside of them differently. A few things from ER are still there and Friends. The hot shows on Warner Brother's set are: Big Bang Theory, Mike and Molly, Mom, Conan, Ellen, and Pretty Little Liars. There are 16 stages/sets and 15 are filled. Because there is no filming going on we got to see the Mike and Molly set - very cool. No photos allowed though. She talked us through how they film it and all. For a sitcom, it is filmed in order of the episode. We got to see where the Big Bang Theory set but didn't go in. They cover everything with tarps when they aren't taping and the Big Bang Theory is all covered up. The Mike and Molly set just had a few tarps so it doesn't get dusty. The Mike and Molly set - Stage 24 - is where Friends was taped. Not a single episode of Friends was taped in NY. Very cool to see all of this! We would love to have be able to go to a taping but no one tapes in the summer really.
We are now at the airport waiting for our flight. Can't wait to get on and sleep! Next stop Japan!

Some sets/stages.
The Big Bang Theory stage. They list all the movies and tv shows that have ever filmed there. That was fun to look at.
:) Central Perk used to be there still and tours would go there but they tore it down and are making it a new fan experience or something. So we didn't get to see it.
Gilmore Girls fans ('aka' Sandy) this was Luke's Diner. This is now the restaurant in Pretty Little Liars where they always eat (for Erin).
Stars Hallow from Gilmore Girls turned into Pretty Little Liars street now.
